Together with Dr. Syed’s expertise and dedication, they established an online telemedicine weight loss clinic where everything can be managed comfortably from your cell phone.

Message From Founder
I’m Karen Syed, the founder of SlimWell Solutions, and I’d like to share my journey with you. I have always been passionate about living a healthy lifestyle, focusing on fitness and nutritious eating. However, when I became a mother, maintaining that lifestyle became quite challenging.
My husband, Dr. Faisel Syed, is a dedicated primary care physician who shares my passion for improving health through lifestyle changes rather than excessive medication. He often reminds me that most modifiable health outcomes are influenced by our daily choices.
Living in Florida, I couldn’t ignore the alarming fact that less than 30% of Floridians have a healthy weight. I personally understood the struggles of weight loss and the frustration that comes with trying various fad diets. Then I discovered the existence of new, effective weight loss medications- but they came with a hefty price tag often exceeding a thousand dollars a month. They were frequently on back order even when insurance approved them.
This was a turning point for me. I realized there had to be a better way to help people achieve their weight loss goals without breaking the bank. That’s when I learned about compounding pharmacies, where pharmacists can create the same active ingredients as the name-brand medications at a fraction of the cost. From this idea, I founded SlimWell Solutions, an online telemedicine wellness company dedicated to improving health by helping people lose weight for life. Our unique business model focuses on building a personal relationship between patients and their doctors, where the medical staff becomes a coach rather than traditional medical providers. We offer weekly check-ins and monthly visits, making sure our patients receive the support they need.
To make things even more convenient, we ship the medication directly to the patient’s home, eliminating the hassle of pharmacy visits. We believe in restoring the sacred doctor-patient relationship, providing quality care and doing it all online via telehealth visits without the headaches of dealing with insurance companies.
